B&B La Masseria del 700

We picked this lovely B&B, "La Masseria del 700," for a few days in Casauria with my family, near the Abbey of San Clemente. Its location worked well for hiking with Majellando in Majella National Park, the sacred mountain. The Masseria is charming and carefully kept, with a wonderfully quiet setting. Nunzio and Fiorella's kindness and the care they put into running the place made us feel at home. Our rooms were spotless and each had its own bathroom, and breakfast was both tasty and generous, with typical local products. We'll come back soon. The location made for a quiet stay, with the sea and Maiella National Park both nearby and plenty to do there, from hiking to canoeing. A colleague had recommended the place for our week-long summer vacation, August 16th to 23rd, 2022, and it lived up to what I expected. Nunzio and Fiorella welcomed us warmly when we arrived and handed over our room and keys. The room was very clean and comfortable. Each morning they made a generous, fresh breakfast and chatted with guests, sharing the Masseria's history and useful ideas for what to see. By the time we left, we'd built a lovely connection with them, so saying goodbye was hard. We'll definitely return to see them. There are so few people like them. Thank you so much. Peace and quiet were just what we were looking for, and this was an ideal spot. We stayed a few days and had a wonderful time. The room was roomy, spotless, and carefully looked after. The owners' warmth and willingness to help made it special, and they were fabulous people to chat with. Hope we can come back soon.

The room was spacious, lovely, and impeccably clean, and breakfast was generous. The owners were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The property sits between the Majella and Gransasso national parks, is easy to reach from the highway, and has a large, convenient private parking lot.
