Velva's little pedestrian lanes and lit stairways have a storybook feel, and the village seems untouched by time. I spent one magical night in the apartment there, surrounded by old floors and furnishings that made it feel like stepping into another era. The owner was genuinely warm and welcoming. It felt like a dream, away from the world's worries, and left me feeling recharged. I'd recommend it to anyone after a distinctive, relaxing stay.

The route there was difficult, and the bell in the bell tower kept ringing. After I canceled the apartment, they refused to refund even part of my €630 reservation, which felt like a hefty penalty. It smells like a scam!
