We rented bikes for 4-5 days and found 3-4 loops starting right from here, each adding up to 40-50 km with 700-900 m of climbing. They made for a good day out without being debilitating, leaving time to drive or shop later. It’s also only a short drive to san quirico and other towns. The patio beside our room was a lovely spot for Tuscan sunrises and sunsets, and room #1 had fabulous Tuscan vistas both east and west. Nights were quiet, then the birds woke us up. We counted 8-9 species on the Merlin app, which was fun. The care and service were top notch. We don’t eat big breakfasts, but the spread each morning was generous enough that I still took a few croissants and some fruit after getting my coffee. They serve bigger breakfasts, but that’s more than we eat. Thank you Andrea and family for a perfect stay. We’ll remember it for a long time.

Andrea, the young man who welcomed me at check-in, gave me a thoughtful, detailed list of things to do during my time in Tuscany. My stay was unforgettable. The rooms were exceptionally clean and full of character, with a real Tuscan charm.

Giuliano told us about the area’s hidden gems, the best spots and restaurants, and how to make the most of our time. San Marcello is one of the places I recommend, and I think you’ll enjoy your stay. We spent an amazing 6 days here, with two comfortable rooms, lovely views, A1 service, and a delicious breakfast with lots of options. The agriturismo is centrally located, so it’s easy to reach many cities.

Villa Andrea had a stylish, spotless room, and the location, staff, and breakfast were all great. It was the most expensive place we stayed during our trip to Italy this year. My one issue was privacy: when we left a "no disturb" note, the cleaning lady unfortunately didn’t respect our request.
