B&B Il Fosso Bianco

We had a problem getting the key from the lockbox when we arrived, but the owner quickly found us another very nice room at the same price. The check-in instructions had been excellent, and the room felt like home as soon as we walked in. The furnishings and cleanliness were lovely, with attention to detail throughout. Barbara was kind and helpful when she welcomed us at breakfast the next morning. It's just 10 meters from Fosso Bianco, and I'd recommend it for families too. We'll be back soon.

Barbara was so lovely, and my wife and I hit it off with her right away. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful for our tastes, served in the little garden by the kitchen with cats wandering around the village. We even adopted two. The B&B is well placed for walking to both the thermal baths and the village restaurants. Elena, the manager, gave us all the information as soon as I called on arrival, then sent it over WhatsApp too. It's a welcoming little place, simple but comfortable, with friendly service and great cleanliness. There's WiFi as well, though I didn't need it. Thanks so much for hosting us.

UNBELIEVABLE!! THEY CANCELLED OUR ROOM 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE OVER A RIDICULOUS PROBLEM THAT WAS EASY TO FIX: OUR CHILD HAD PUT A TOWEL IN THE TOILET. THEY MUST HAVE FAVOURED ANOTHER BELOVED CUSTOMER. I'VE ALSO READ OLDER REVIEWS SAYING SOMETHING SIMILAR HAPPENED BEFORE. I TOLD THE LADY, WHO WAS RUDE IN HER TONE, AND SHE HUNG UP ON ME!! I'D TAKEN FOUR DAYS OFF AND IT ALL WENT TO WASTE.

We stayed two nights with friends, taking four rooms and practically the whole house. The rooms were clean and well kept, with nice bathrooms and comfortable mattresses and pillows. There was also a lovely little garden in the courtyard. Breakfast had packaged items and fresh bread, and Barbara, very kind and discreet, made excellent coffee and cappuccinos. The place is right in the town center, just a few steps from the trail to Balena Bianca waterfall. The village has very few residents, only three or four small cafés, and no shops.
