We had a wonderful evening at the wine bar, enjoying the food and wine outside in the town square with a view of the castle. Everything was outstanding. The food was excellent, with modern takes on classic Italian flavors made from fresh, high-quality ingredients. The wines were superb, and we got to tour the cellar where they're resting. Mr Mottura, his family, the staff, and their talented chef made the evening perfect. We'll be back!

The chef delighted us with a surprise tasting menu, and the wine pairing let us try several of the superb wines they make. This charming, comfortable hotel feels tucked away, with an incredible restaurant and winery. It was a magical, authentic experience. The hilltop town is surrounded by their vineyards. Hope we can return soon!

We came back this year for a winter trip around Central Italy and spent two days with them and their guests over New Year's Eve. It was even better than our first visit, with a lovely mix of people. About two years ago, we stopped at the hotel on our way to the ferry at Civitavecchia. We were taken with its old-style elegance and beauty, but even more by Sergio Mottura and his wife Alessandra, whose friendliness and hospitality were extraordinary. We only had a day then, yet it felt like something deeper and more genuine than the usual hotel stay. Sergio's passion for making wine, their love of the countryside, and the warm welcome Alessandra creates for guests have stayed with us.

The food is exquisite, with options for different culinary needs, including vegetarians. Wine tasting gives you an authentic taste of Lazio's grapes, and in the cantina you can feel how long the family has been devoted to their craft. It's a wonderful secret among the rolling hills of Lazio. Grazie for a memorable experience. We'll be back soon.
