Gemme di Roma

The room and bathroom were clean and simple, with no extras. Like many places in Rome, the soundproofing could be better.

We slept comfortably, the place was spotless, and the staff were really friendly. The location was great too. Breakfast was the weak point for what you pay per night. There was a reasonable choice, but the food quality didn't match it. I'd rather see fewer options done better, and some fresh fruit would make a big difference.

The staff made this stay special. They went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed, even finding a taxi to Ciampino airport at 4:30 in the morning. When I mentioned it was my wife's birthday, they congratulated her, then gave me a hard time for not telling them sooner. They rushed downstairs for a bottle of champagne so we could celebrate. It's a calm place right in the heart of Rome, and an easy walk from Roma Termini station. Our room was cute, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom immaculate. This is my number one place to stay in Rome, especially at such a reasonable price.

Liana and Ricardo were wonderful. Our rental car company delayed us, and they waited for us even though we were the ones who hadn't realized check-in ended at 6pm. Since we were on our honeymoon, they also brought us something special to celebrate. Thanks so much! The rooms were clean and comfortable, each with its own color or theme, and had a lovely smell. The location is excellent: Termini is two blocks away, and the airport bus stops one block away. There's also a restaurant by the exit that's pretty good and reasonably priced.
