The sommelier's collection was great, and chatting with him was so much fun. We had a wonderful stay for our 11th wedding anniversary, and the kind staff upgraded us to a suite without us even asking. It's perfectly placed for wine tasting around val d’orcia, including montalchino, montepuciano, and pienza. We'd definitely stay again.

We knew Locanda in Tuscany was right for our small wedding celebration as soon as we visited. We wanted a remote little chapel, and Vitaleta was exactly the dream. Claudia made it happen, with the ceremony there and the reception at Locanda in Tuscany. The setting looks like a postcard, with rolling green hills and fresh lavender fields, and the hospitality felt truly Tuscan. The food was incredible too. We loved the wine tasting and antipasti the night before, the wedding banquet, and the barbecue the following day. As foodies, we couldn't have asked for more. We were a UK couple figuring out how to plan a wedding in Italy, which was a big learning journey. Claudia and her team reassured and guided us all the way and helped create the wedding we'd dreamed of. Francesca, Marco, Clara, Serena and Tina were attentive and flawless, and made our guests feel at home. Claudia will always have a special place in our hearts for her part in the best day of our lives ❤️

We spent two nights at Locanda, and the scenery, scenery, scenery was a highlight. It felt just like the Tuscany people picture. For us, the location and service were the best, and the food was very nice too. They also arranged a cooking class that we really enjoyed. Thanks for the whole experience. We hope to visit again.

We paid in advance for a room, but when we arrived we were told it had been sold to someone else. They offered us an upgrade, but it wasn't suitable because we were travelling with a dog. The other rooms they showed and offered were definite downgrades, so we asked for a refund and were refused. We simply lost our money. How could they sell our room twice? Since they'd already profited from the room, why not just refund us? Their attitude was completely unprofessional, and frankly, I felt they stole from us in broad daylight.

We only stayed two nights in summer, but the location was perfect. The staff, room, breakfast, pool, and all the amenities were amazing, and they welcomed our dogs too. We left some valuables behind, and the staff shipped them to us right away. I'm forever grateful. One of my favorite hotels ever, and I can't wait to come back.
