The panoramic pool, with views across the countryside, was perfect for some real peace and quiet. Poggio Vaccaio Agriturismo is surrounded by nature and made for relaxing. The owners were always welcoming and available, and Emanuela in particular made us feel right at home with her kindness and hospitality. The agriturismo is genuine and lovingly cared for. Don’t miss their olive oil, either: it’s fragrant, excellent, and authentic, and we were glad to bring some of the experience home with us. We’ll definitely return!

The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the price was excellent for the home and its setting. It’s a welcoming, comfortable, romantic place with everything you need. The pool is lovely, surrounded by greenery, and the location works well for visiting Umbria and Tuscany.

The villa is beautiful, the apartment spacious, and the views over Lake Montepulciano lovely. It’s quiet, neat, and well located. The pool was clean, though it isn’t heated.

We had a very relaxing stay in a peaceful, green setting. The owners were welcoming and helpful, and gave us ideas for things to do and restaurants to try nearby. Most of them speak English, which was great since I don’t speak Italian. I highly recommend it!

If you’re after a quiet holiday surrounded by nature and away from the tourist crowds, this place fits the bill. The pool is fantastic, especially with that view, and the housekeeper was courteous and helpful. The apartments are well equipped and stay pleasantly cool in hot weather. It’s a stunning setting in the heart of Tuscany, though shopping is a good 20-minute drive away. The roads are extremely bumpy and take some getting used to. Arezzo, Perugia, Siena, and other places are still quite close.
