Il Tiglio, two pax flat between Umbria and Tuscany-Il Tiglio - Poggio di Cantagallina

We've been traveling full time around Europe for three years, and these were the best three weeks we've had 😍 Everything here is beautiful and so well cared for, from the location and surroundings to the place itself 😃 The apartment was cozy and spacious, with a huge garden and a big, beautiful pool. We had several lovely barbecues, and the owners offered to host two of them. They're such a friendly, lovely couple, and we already miss them and their sweet dog Ariel 😁 Every morning felt like waking up in paradise 💚 We were sad to leave, but we'll definitely be back. 10/10 experience! What makes Il Poggio di Cantagallina special is the people running it. Rosie and Stefano are warm, generous and attentive, and really try to make guests feel at home. We stayed in the house, which gave us plenty of privacy, and enjoyed the pool and lovely views across Umbria. It’s a peaceful spot, so you’ll need a car to get around, and the WiFi isn’t much to rely on. The agriturismo is small, quiet and beautifully cared for, with lots of outdoor room for sunbathing or a game. The accommodation has a charming, traditional Italian feel. It’s clean and lovingly decorated, though not especially luxurious. There are plenty of agriturismos around here, but this one is well worth a visit.

The views from the villa were amazing, and the hosts made us feel very welcome. We had a wonderful time and would happily come back.
