The garden was a lovely spot to unwind after exploring the little village and nearby area, and my daughter had room to run around. The views from there were great, especially at sunrise and sunset from the turret. Monica was a gorgeous host, with useful advice on free parking and restaurants. My husband was added to the booking at the last minute, and she even offered us the adjoining room for extra space. The room was clean, the bathroom modern, and the three of us had a fantastic stay.

We liked everything, from the room and breakfast to the place and service. It’s a very special spot: you can sit atop the tower with someone you love, sipping wine in the sunshine or at sunset. On your own and hoping to find love? Sit up there and wait for him or her. One day, they’ll arrive on a white horse! Highly recommended.

Breakfast was excellent, with meats, cheese, pastries and cereals. It came on a tray, and we ate outside among the roses, with a brilliant view from the turret. Our room was large and clean, tucked inside a secret garden, with lovely views of the garden and lake beyond. The ensuite bathroom was a good size too. The owner is a lovely lady who speaks good English. Best B+B!

We woke to birds singing in the morning, and the village was completely quiet at night despite the very central location in Castiglione. Monica was incredibly kind and, on her own initiative, changed our reserved room to one looking over the garden with a breathtaking lake view. The place is enchanting, spotlessly clean and decorated with real attention to detail. The bathroom was comfortable and beautiful, and the room had a mini-fridge, safe, and tea and herbal tea facilities provided by management. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety. What more could you ask for?
