I have a bad leg, and the resort is a long walk from the restaurants in town, so we relied on the on-site restaurant. They advertise accommodation with dining, and I only found out halfway through Saturday check-in that the restaurant was closed. They hadn’t told us beforehand. If we’d known, we would definitely have booked somewhere else. We’d stayed here before, enjoyed it, and even extended that visit by upgrading to one of the aprtements. This time, though, I feel cheated and lied to. We paid the same room price with or without the restaurant, which just seems wrong. I won’t come back, and I don’t feel I can trust them. Be warned, you might arrive and only then discover the restaurant is closed.

We had a nice breakfast, though it was all cold food. The restaurant wasn’t open for dinner while we were there. The rooms were clean, pleasant, and a good size, and the location was great for walking into town.

The main hotel building has a nice pool, solarium, and elegant furnishings, but the so-called “superior rooms” are in a narrow, separate building facing the parking lot. They’re dark and noisy. If you can put up with so little light and aren’t worried about feeling claustrophobic, it may suit you. Just know the value for the price is very poor, especially on weekends.

A cozy hotel with a lovely garden and pool, attractive interiors, and a great location. The restaurant was good, with a highly professional chef, and the staff were very attentive. There’s private parking too.
