Brando made our stay special with his attention to detail, welcoming manner, and local tips. Palazzo Barbini is ideally located for the town’s attractions and lovely restaurants. The spacious, beautifully decorated rooms look out over the lake and countryside, and the historic character blends with modern comforts. I had an unforgettable stay at Palazzo Barbini in Castiglione del Lago, and can’t recommend it or Brando enough for a relaxing, authentic Italian getaway!

My family’s favorite place. The little restaurant in the house is amazing, with incredible food made by hand in front of you. Ask for the best wine and you’ll get the best grapes you can imagine. The rooms are decorated with a lot of love and attention to detail, and every one is unique and amazing.

The rooms are high quality, set in an awesome medieval landscape. Suites with terraces, like Brando, are probably the best rooms you can find on Castiglione.

It’s a beautiful old building right in the heart of this lovely historic town. I’d definitely stay here if I came back.

The location is perfect and the building has lots of character. Parking nearby is a bit of a problem.
