We come back every year and usually stay for at least 10 days. The cottage is in a lovely spot, with beautiful surroundings, and everything has been well organized each time. If we needed clean towels or bed linens, we could just ask Elena. It's a bit remote, but that's part of the peace and quiet, and there's a lovely pool with a nice view. A larger village with a supermarket is only fifteen minutes away by car. The kids love being able to swim every day. Sweet Elena is always happy to chat with us or the children, and Dean can share local tips, including where to eat or get delicious ice cream.

Those mature trees and the views over the lake and hills are hard to describe. We've been coming to Fontegallo nearly every year since 2018, and it feels like our favourite place away from home. The accommodation is super comfortable, and the kitchen has everything we need to cook for ourselves. Elena is always around and so warm and friendly. The owners, Dean and Dorit, are just as welcoming and happy to suggest local places, sometimes even sharing a jar of their home-grown olives if you're lucky. We'll be back for many more years. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Our villa was peaceful, clean, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. The hosts were incredibly helpful and always willing to do more. From the hilltop, there's a sweeping view and a lush garden all around. It's an elegant, authentic place that feels unlike anywhere else. We had an unforgettable holiday there, a little taste of Italy's beauty.
