Residenza il Palazzo

We only wish our week at "Il Palazzo" had lasted longer. Barbara greeted us at the gate with such a warm smile that we felt like family. She, Leonardo, and Dudù welcomed us into their home and made us feel part of the place. It was enchanting, with carefully considered details and nature's colors and quiet all around. The garden was beautifully kept. Our apartment was spotless, with new dishes and pots, and a simple but well-equipped kitchenette. We loved eating and relaxing on the terrace, looking out toward the pool and the Trasimeno hills. The property offered a lot for the same price as other places nearby: a bathroom with a shower and hot water, a kitchen with a washing machine in an outbuilding near the pool, Leo's barbecue with firewood and a fire pit for guests, and plenty of parking. The sofa bed is the one thing that could be better. Its welded base makes noise, and the mattress is too low for an adult, so I can't give it five stars. The apartment itself had a huge terrace that was perfect for our holiday. The pool was fantastic, and the garden was beautifully cared for. The owner was available whenever needed. A lovely spot in the Umbrian-Tuscan hills.

We had a wonderful stay at the end of August. The apartment was spotless, the pool well maintained, and there was plenty of parking. Getting around was easy, even for guests with mobility issues. The place is quiet and ideal if you're looking to relax, while still being well placed for the lake and its main attractions. The owners were so welcoming and exceptionally kind. Highly recommend!
