The pool was fantastic, big enough for plenty of people, with lovely views across Umbria. We also liked the remote villa setting and seeing the geese, goats, peacocks, and other animals. There were some frustrating gaps between the listing and what we got. We expected a balcony or terrace, as advertised, but our apartment only had a garden table downstairs, a bit of a walk away. Carrying things up and down while preparing meals got irritating. The offer also included bikes, but the few there looked very old and as though they hadn't been replaced in about 20 years. There was very little dinnerware for our family of four, too. The internet hotspot barely worked and was extremely slow. Instagram and Facebook struggled, and YouTube was out of the question. The stay was okay, but left us disappointed.

Alviero, Rossana and Iacopo were kind and around whenever we needed them. We had two lovely weeks at La Fontana, with wonderful views and a pool in a perfect spot. The house was such good quality that it felt like a dream. It's a great place to relax and visit nearby towns like Cortona, Montepulciano, and Siena. We'll definitely be back.

We had a roomy, comfortable apartment with two bedrooms, a large bathroom, and a living area with a kitchenette. It had all the utensils we needed, plus a dishwasher and fireplace. The common spaces were spacious and well maintained, and the pool stayed clean. Guests can also use the bicycles and barbecue facilities. We were there in August, but the evenings still had a pleasant breeze. Fans were available, and there were three air conditioners for an extra charge, though we didn't need them. There was also a handy laundry room and all the linens we needed, including pool towels.

The owners were friendly and easy to contact whenever we had a question or problem, and they sorted things out quickly. We spent two relaxing weeks at Villa Fontana with two families and children. The apartments and house were clean and tidy. The big pool has a magnificent view and was great for swimming and playing. We also enjoyed the loungers by the pool and hammocks in the large garden. A lovely spot if you're after peace and quiet.

Such a lovely place for anyone who enjoys nature, and the prices felt fair. Rooms are big and stay cool thanks to the old walls. The sunrise and sunset views are breathtaking. The pool itself is a little small, but the facility's maximum capacity keeps it from getting annoyingly crowded. The pool area is spacious and well equipped, with just a few minor limitations. All the comforts are there...😜
