The valley view was lovely, and the place was nice with a pool that stayed clean. But the air conditioning and internet had a lot of problems that need fixing. I think the place could use more decoration and a play area, and it’s worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend a long stay, though, or the bugs will eat you alive.

We found it a handy base for northern Umbria and Siena province in Tuscany, with great room views and a relaxed feel throughout our stay. The bathroom and fittings need improvement, and the room could be cleaner.

Gigio is a lovely cat, and the lady was hospitable, kind, and courteous. The quiet and the pool are real strengths, and every mini-apartment has an outdoor barbecue and iron tables for dinner if you’d rather stay in. The sleeping space we were assigned could be better, but I think the value for money makes this one of the best options in the area. It’s in a beautiful, peaceful spot, with views of Lake Trasimeno on one side and the town of Chiusi on the other. Thanks for your hospitality.

The check-in was very sloppy, and the location wasn’t as convenient as I’d hoped, about 10 km from the lake. I booked for the May bank holiday after seeing the available date and checking the photos and services on the website. The price seemed fair, and the room itself was fine, but we had to buy our own shampoo and shower gel. The email said pool loungers were included, but what about the pool? With those temperatures, they could at least have opened one of the two, or apologized and offered breakfast instead. The evening lighting was another issue. For that price, or less, I could have found a B&B right by the lake with breakfast included. Maybe service is better for people booking through an external booking site, whose name I won’t mention. Awful experience.
