The pool was a lovely spot, and we felt welcome from the start. Our room at La Casina Bassa was spacious and had everything we needed. We stayed from the 13th of august untill the 20th of August, and had a wonderful week in Italy. Jordano and Claudia were wonderful B&B hosts. Breakfast was a real treat each morning, with fresh, organic food. Claudia had to leave for private reasons, so Jordano took care of breakfast by himself for a few days. He put in a lot of effort, and we really respected that. We also had dinner there after reserving, and it was so good. Thank you both for such a great stay. Our first two nights in Italy at La Casina Bassa got the whole trip off to a lovely start. After our long flight and drive, Claudia welcomed us with wine and bread drizzled with the farm's delicious olive oil. She and Giordano speak very good English, but kindly spoke "slow Italian" with us and were patient while we tried out our beginner language skills. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the farm is a real jewel in the Lago Trasimeno area. Claudia and Giordano are warm, lovely, "simpaticissimi" hosts who are proud of the farm they have worked hard to establish, and they offered us a tour. Breakfast was excellent, and Giordano even offered to make "American coffee" for us. Dinner is worth staying for too, with delicious local dishes and products from the farm. He also drew us a map of "must see" towns and sites in the area we were traveling through. We give La Cassina Bassa our highest rating and urge you to visit!

There’s a pool, swings, lovely views and a soft breeze at this relaxed, easygoing place. Andrea and Giordano were friendly, and Giordano cooks terrific dinners. We’d love to return.

I’m left with such lovely memories of this stay. Claudia and Giordano welcomed us so warmly, and the food was absolutely delicious. It’s a magical place where you get the real Italy, full of generosity, sharing, laughter, smiles, simplicity and, above all, authenticity. The setting is relaxing and really pleasant.
