Hotel Anfora

Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of it. The hotel is family-run, simple, and very clean, with the beach and town centre only a few minutes away. Free bikes are available too. I’d highly recommend it.

We kept choosing to have dinner at the hotel, and it’s easy to see why. Half-board lets you pick one dish from three each day, and everything we tried was carefully made with really good ingredients. The hotel is run with a lot of care, especially when it comes to cleanliness and service. It’s also peaceful despite being close to both the beach and town center. The pool and shady garden are lovely extras. Highly recommended.

The pool and park are lovely, well cared for, and wonderfully quiet. It’s a relaxing spot just beyond the Castiglione bridge, though the busy center is still only a ten-minute walk away. The staff were so welcoming and happy to offer local tips. When my sister needed to take work calls, they even set her up with a table in the park near a power outlet. There are free bikes to use, which are a great way to take in Castiglione’s routes and scenery. I’d gladly come back.

Alessandro and Matteo were a real pleasure, so kind, helpful, and friendly. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, which matters most to me. The bathroom was on the small side and had no window, but the shower was spacious. Breakfast was simple but had what I needed. I stayed five days in July, in a peaceful spot about five minutes from the sea and a little farther from the center. Keep up the good work!
