What we liked about Castiglione Della Pescaia was its Italian holiday feel, with all that easygoing style and delicious food. This little hotel was a pleasure too, thanks to staff who were friendly and quick to help. They lent us bikes for free, and there’s a fantastic nearby nature reserve with plenty of birdlife, including flamingos and fishing herons. They also pointed us to Skipper, an open-air beach restaurant with delicious food, and Arturo’s, about a ten-minute walk away. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely adapted apartment, and the staff were incredibly kind and generous. Traveling in a wheelchair, this was the only hotel that could accommodate us. A really lovely experience.

The rooms have been remodeled beautifully, and we could see the sea from our balcony. The receptionists were great too. I’d definitely stay here again.
