B&B Mulini Venturi

I met Mara a few years ago and still remember how wonderful she is. She’s a great teacher and a lovely host.

We spent a lovely night as a family at Mara’s B&B, where the attentive owner gave us such a warm welcome. The rustic, cozy rooms and connecting bathrooms suited us perfectly, with enough space for my sister’s medium-sized dog. I woke up feeling refreshed after a truly rejuvenating night. In the morning, Mara had carefully prepared breakfast with homemade cake, tart and jams, fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh milk, oat milk, and delicious vegan treats she’d made herself. When an unexpected delay came up, she let us stay longer than planned and cooked us a tasty meal with organic wine and vegetables she had just picked from her garden. She even gave me an invigorating massage on the flower-filled porch surrounded by greenery. A fantastic vacation. Thank you so much, Mara, you’re a special person!

The location is really convenient, and the owner is kind and always willing to help. Still, I left feeling there was a lot that needed attention. The bathroom flooded because the sunken shower tray had no enclosure or curtain, and the water could suddenly get dangerously hot when people in other rooms used their showers. The towels were small and smelled musty, and the rooms could use a serious clean. Outside, the grounds looked neglected compared with the online photos. Breakfast also needs rethinking. I hope Mrs. Mara can make improvements, because it’s a shame.

Breakfast in the garden, with tasty homemade jams and cakes, was a lovely touch. Our “dream room” felt rustic and welcoming, though its private bathroom was off the hallway. Mara was warm and friendly despite having a busy schedule. It’s a peaceful spot to rest and feel restored. Thanks, Mara, see you soon!
