The countryside setting at Fondo Cipollate was peaceful and away from mass tourism, with a good location for exploring the area. Gabriella and Elena were extremely helpful and friendly, sharing lots of tips on places to visit and eat. We stayed six nights and loved it. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, simply decorated in a traditional style, with everything you need. The bed and pillows were a bit hard for us, but after seven days I felt completely de-stressed.

We used this as a base for five nights while exploring eastern Sicily, and it was a welcome retreat at the end of each day. The setting is charming, peaceful, and restorative. Our room was comfortable and the breakfasts were hearty and delicious. Everyone on staff was delightful. Elena, who manages in the evenings, can arrange pizza delivery if you don't feel like going out. My husband, I, and another couple all had a lovely stay.

Our flight was delayed, so we arrived late at night without having stopped for dinner. Gabriella kindly brought us a snack. She and Elena were both welcoming and gave excellent service. The rooms were just as they looked online, and the pool was calm and refreshing, with lovely rustic views. This is a great quiet retreat, and Taormina isn't too far away. I highly recommend this agriturismo.

Fondo Cipollate exceeded our expectations. My wife and I loved the lovely rooms and beautiful grounds, and the countryside location was a welcome break after days spent exploring the area's sights. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, picturesque place to stay nearby.

Elena and Gabriella were always around with useful recommendations, and everyone at Fondo Cipollate did their best to help whenever we needed something. They were helpful without making a fuss, and gave us space as long as we treated the people and place respectfully. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, small but full of lovely details in every corner. If you want somewhere quiet, beautiful, and affordable in Sicily, this is it. I really can't recommend it enough and hope to visit again soon.
