Really good hotel.

We only stayed briefly, but it was a lovely visit. The hotel felt distinctive and welcoming, and our large room opened onto a terrace with an incredible view.

The view of Mount Etna is fantastic when the mountain is visible. This is a romantic, family-run hotel, and it suits this little town very well. Just keep in mind that a four-star place here isn't quite the same as one in a big city. I'd still recommend it.

The owner was unexpectedly kind, and the staff were both friendly and efficient. My room was very clean and had all the comforts I needed, as did the rest of the hotel. I'll definitely come back.

The hotel sits in a medieval town, so staying there felt like an encounter with history. I suggested it to friends, and they came away delighted by the welcome and the view of Mount Etna.
