Villa Vitae

We were four adults in the Bonaparte Apartment for seven nights and enjoyed every bit of it. Ganina and Andra were wonderfully hospitable, gave us great winery and food suggestions, and served a top class breakfast. The town and quality Restaurants are easy to reach on foot, and it's a fabulous base for everything this amazing area offers. We couldn't recommend Villa Vitae highly enough.

The host was extremely friendly and ready to help make our stay pleasant, including sharing information about the area and restaurants. The rooms are truly luxurious, with so many thoughtful details that make them even better. The pool area is comfortable and really nice, and there’s even a vending machine and ping pong table in the parking lot. One of the best apartments I’ve ever stayed in. I’d definitely like to return.

The views from both suites were incredible, with Castiglione Falletto right in front and hills, valleys, vineyards and castles stretching for miles. Villa Vitae was a beautiful place to stay for our Piedmont vacation. We spent the first four nights in the Napoleon suite and the next four in the Cesare Pavese suite. Both were stunning, exceptionally clean and comfortable, and each had its own character. It was just the two of us, so having the large Napoleon suite to ourselves was lovely. Sandra even arranged a fantastic five-hour cooking class in our suite, with dinner on our terrace. Moving to the smaller suite for the second half didn't disappoint at all. The location was perfect, with so many interesting towns just minutes away. We also drove to the seaside at Noli and Finale Ligure, about an hour and a half away, for fresh seafood on the beach. The ride was very scenic. Breakfast at the inn was delicious. Gennina (sp?) made the most incredible scrambled eggs I've ever had, with fresh mache and tomatoes. What a treat! The cheeses and procuitto were top notch, along with the homemade pastries and breads. Andra and Gennina were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always there when we needed something, and ready with a smile, a joke or a witty comment. Real professionals on their A game. Sandra, the owner, was a superstar host: gracious, accommodating and with impeccable taste. She spent months answering my questions about the area, shared fabulous suggestions and recommendations, and even helped us book restaurant and vineyard reservations. Follow her lead if you stay at Villa Vitae and you won't be disappointed. We were so lucky to have her be part of our special 20th Anniversary trip. We hope to return to Piedmont and Villa Vitae someday. Love and thanks to everyone who made it so special. It really felt like our home away from home.

The service was very hospitable. Rooms were modern and very nice, with a great view over the vineyards and a good location. Each morning, breakfast included a selection of local cheeses, fruit and more.
