La Corte di Leuca

The location made getting around easy, with a bakery, grocery store, butcher, and fishmonger only a few meters away. There’s also a partner beach club 300 meters down in town, right on the fantastic seafront. The beach service has beds rather than loungers, and walkways make it easy to get into the water. Our rooms were spacious, modern, clean, and air-conditioned. Breakfast was excellent in my view, with lots to choose from and helpful staff, even though I’d read criticism of it beforehand. The organized team was ready to handle our requests and offer advice on making the most of Corte di Leuca's fantastic location. Staff were also very kind and responsive during dinner service. My children had a dream. The value was better than I expected. Thanks to Corte di Leuca for the memories my family will cherish, and congratulations. A perfect family vacation, highly recommended.

The sea was a 400-meter walk, but the shore was rocky rather than sandy, so I wouldn’t recommend this for families with children. We spent a week here as a family. The rooms were pleasant and clean, while breakfast was poor and dinner was low quality, with defrosted rubbery fish and food that felt like bar fare.

The lido down at the beach was the only thing I’d give a 5. For dinner, you were left hoping the chef felt like cooking. We were kept outside until 4 PM, although check-in was listed as 3:30 PM. The €45 club card was supposed to include entertainment, but there was none. The voucher also said the spa was included. Even with slippers, a towel, and a cap, we had to pay €10 just to use one sauna because the Turkish bath was broken. There was only one roll of toilet paper in the room, though apparently there should be two. When we asked for another, they charged us 0.50 cents. Ridiculous, they’re wasted in a glass of water. The rooms are new, but they don’t clean them, and there was only one broom.

The apartments are modern and nicely furnished, and the property is beautiful, right on the edge of the town center and close to the sea. Storage was a bit limited, though. For a two-room apartment meant for four people, there should be enough wardrobes or other storage for everyone. I booked through the "Dirotta da Noi" agency, which offered a package with various services, but this review is only about the residence. One rule I wish I’d noticed before booking is that dogs aren’t allowed in the apartment. My dog suffers on the beach, so had I known, I probably would have chosen somewhere else. The management was understanding, and I sincerely thank them for that. If you travel with a four-legged friend, check this rule carefully before booking. Thanks for the hospitality and attention.
