2214 Villetta Enea - Mono 1 by Barbarhouse

A quiet place to stay in Castro, with the sea only about a six-minute walk away. The rooms are large and the surroundings clean, and both reception and housekeeping were professional. Breakfast was great for sweet things, though the savory choices could be better. I’ll come back.

Vincenzo was ready to help with any request, and the owners were attentive too. The place is lovely and comfortable, with excellent service and high-quality seafood throughout. The food was excellent.

Breakfast was Italian only, with lots of drinks to choose from but less food, mostly croissants and cereals. We stayed as a couple from August 14th to 19th in a lovely, welcoming hotel. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the receptionists were always smiling and suggested places to eat. They cleaned our room every day.

The meals were excellent, especially the fresh seafood, and service was efficient. Our clean, well-equipped rooms had panoramic views and all the comforts. Definitely worth trying.
