There’s plenty of greenery around the property, plus an infinity pool, and the owners were kind and helpful. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety. But the rooms felt old, were badly furnished, and weren’t well maintained. Cleaning was inconsistent, and the sheets looked dated too. With rooms needing renovation, the high price didn’t feel justified. The whole property needs a complete overhaul.

After the long trip from Milan, we reached our destination only to be told the two rooms we’d booked and put a deposit on were no longer available. We never got to see the property, but this experience says enough about how seriously the B&B handles bookings. I’d strongly advise against it. A disgrace.

We had no trouble when we arrived, and the housekeeping was good. The exterior setting is lovely, and the B&B is conveniently located near Castro’s historic center. Still, I can only give it two stars. The rooms looked nothing like the ones shown on Booking, and had almost no windows, just one tiny one that let in a little light. With three of us, it felt a bit claustrophobic. There’s no sign for the B&B from the road, either, so it’s easy to miss or end up wandering around.
