Check-in was easy to do myself, and communication with Stefania was good. It was good value and had everything needed for a short stay. One thing to be aware of: the inside staircase up to the bathroom could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

The owner was helpful, and the location was decent, about 0.5km from the center and 2km from the train station. It was cheap, with a good bathroom and a kitchen, though the kitchen was very small. Our room smelled bad, possibly from sewerage, and the WiFi kept disconnecting every few minutes. The pictures and review from Stefania, one of the owners, didn't match the kitchen and room we got.

The place was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the location was great. I'll definitely book again when I'm back in Catania!

Getting there from the airport was easy on the Alibus, about a 15-minute ride. The apartment is in central Catania, roughly 5 minutes from the center, and there's a great pastry shop just 2 minutes away. The room was very clean, with one double bed and two single beds, and the price was fair. Highly recommended!

The shared kitchen was well equipped, and everything else was clean. But the apartment is on busy Vittorio Emanuele II street, so street noise was bothersome. We had been told our entry code would work from 1 pm, and they wouldn't let us in even a minute early, despite our message saying we'd arrived. We ended up waiting outside with our suitcases. There was no wardrobe in the room, and the painting on the wall was really scary.
