We found this converted old palace easy to reach by car from the airport, and it's right in central Catania. A very kind and helpful family runs the BnB. There’s private parking for a small fee, which was really handy, and coffee and a croissant are offered free in the morning. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The room was clean and nice, and the place is about a 20-minute walk from the main train station. Breakfast is served at a large table shared with the other guests. If you haven't booked it in advance, you can't add it later because the table is full, though you can take your breakfast back to your room. I found the host a bit weird.

The breakfast was a little underwhelming, but the rest of our stay was very pleasant. Our room was clean and airy, the landlady was pleasant, and the B&B is close to the town centre. The Alcala bus loop is right beside it, with buses stopping there for Taormina and Syracuse, so there’s no need to go to the bus terminal about 2 km away. I’d heartily recommend the place.

For our one night in Catania, this BnB worked perfectly. It was clean and comfortable, close to the bus stop I needed for the SAIS bus, and the staff were helpful. I’d stay again if I’m back in Catania.

The staff were kind, and the location was perfect, with the old town and airport shuttle both within a five-minute walk. It was super clean and a great price. I’d happily return.
