Anfiteatro Le Suites

The location made it easy to walk to the main parts of the city, and our room was clean and spacious. Check-in and checkout were seamless. Martina was the highlight of our stay. She put on a great breakfast buffet each morning and was flexible about vegan options. When our wine tour company said after the pickup time that they had no car and wanted to reschedule or cancel, we couldn’t change the plan. They offered no useful transport solution, but within ten minutes Martina had found us a driver through a local company. We made all the winery times and didn’t lose the part of the trip we’d been most excited about. I’d definitely stay here again, 10/10.

Martina was brilliant: always cheerful, quick to answer questions, and lovely to chat with each morning. She accommodated an early check-in, gave me trip advice, and suggested places I hadn’t thought of. Saracuse was amazing. The B&B is handy for sightseeing, good restaurants, and the bus station. As a solo traveler, I’d recommend it to people traveling alone or with family. My room was spotless, pleasantly decorated, and had all the essentials and more. The balcony doors were great for letting in fresh air. Some nights the nearby bar was fairly loud late in the evening, but the good things outweighed that. Breakfast was adequate.

Martina’s warm welcome and local knowledge made us feel at home. She was full of energy, and her restaurant suggestions all exceeded our expectations. Ask her questions and for recommendations, you won’t regret it. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety, and the rooms were clean and well kept. Staff paid attention to what we needed. The hotel is well placed for buses, mini markets, and the main attractions. The Anfiteatro Ruins are right in front, and are worth a visit, like a mini-Colosseum. A real hidden gem in central Catania. We had a great stay and will definitely come back. Grazie mille Martina per la tua ospitalità!

We had a great suite at the front, looking out over the amphitheatre. The shutters kept noise to a minimum when closed. Inside, it was spacious and clean, with lovely decor, a big comfortable bed, and good bedding. The jacuzzi shower was a treat. Breakfast was adequate: cereal, croissants, jam, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, yogurt, and some fruit, with good Italian coffee. Such a great place to stay, and a lovely find.
