A safe, very good place close to central Catania and the bus station. Taormina, Etna, and Syrakuzy are nearby too. I'd recommend it.

I had a terrible experience. The apartment's sanitary condition was awful, with stained sheets and towels, dust and hair around the place, cobwebs in the corners, and a musty smell. It's in a seedy part of Catania, with prostitutes and drug dealers right outside the door. I strongly advise against staying here.

We were glad we left and didn't have to stay. Our group of five women arrived for a trip and felt terrified by the streets, which had a mess and smell everywhere, along with dogs, cats, and strange individuals. The apartment was dusty, dirty, and unhygienic. The owner wasn't there; an older woman who spoke only Italian showed it to us. We chose to leave, and other accommodation was found for us quickly. After we told the owner we weren't satisfied and were leaving, he accused us of making it up and pointed out that the apartment had received a great rating a few days earlier. He refused to refund us, resolve the issue, or offer any compensation. Don't go there, ever.
