Gabriele was easy to reach and very attentive, pretty much around the clock. Breakfast in the open kitchen was very good, and the city center is all walkable, including the train and bus station for the airport. I stayed four nights in February 2026, and the B&B matched the listing, if not better. Everything was very clean and well kept. Definitely recommended.

Gabriele made communication easy, replied quickly, and sent clear directions plus useful tips for car rental and luggage storage. B&B Casa Carola is also really well placed for seeing Catania on foot, with the main sights, restaurants, and car rental services nearby. Our room was roomy and clean, and the bed was so comfortable. We also liked the shared terrace and small touches like the “Have a nice day!” sign in the kitchen. We had a lovely stay and would happily come back next time we’re in Catania. 😊

We spent a few cosy evenings on the lovely terrace at B&B Casa Carola, wine in hand. The room was clean and good, with a comfortable bed, and the center is only a short walk away, so it was easy to get around Catania. Gabriele was kind, friendly, and helpful. Staying in a palazzo was a memorable part of our three nights in Catania. The high ceilings and stucco details had character, while the plumbing and amenities were modern. Our room had a hairdryer, toiletries including shampoo, soap, and shower gel, comfy pillows and bed, and a quiet modern air conditioner. The Booking photos were accurate. Breakfast was included, with tea and coffee, toast, croissants, water, juice, cold cuts, cheese, and yogurt in the kitchen, which guests can use and which is fully equipped. There’s no reception desk, so check Booking messages for Gabriel’s detailed advance instructions on getting into the building and room. He communicated attentively. The location is peaceful despite being right in central Catania, around a 10-minute walk from the bus and train stations and within easy reach of the main sights. We’d choose this place again if we return.
