The owner was warm and helpful, and we could see what he meant about Sicilians being especially friendly. We slept well in a comfortable bed, with good sound insulation, and the rooms were tidy with a really high standard of finish. The city center is only a stone's throw away. We loved staying here while visiting Sicily, and would happily recommend it to friends.

Frenciesco was a friendly, accommodating host, and the place was clean and suited our trip well. It's about a six-minute walk to the center and is affordable. There isn't a laundry service, though several very cheap laundries are nearby. I'd definitely recommend it if you want to stay close to town.

We had a nice room, and the service was helpful. They even helped us find parking and shared lots of useful advice. The location is great too, quite close to the center.

The host made us feel at home right from the start. He was kind, welcoming and ready to help, with useful directions and good suggestions for exploring the area. Our room was very clean, comfortable and well organized, and we felt relaxed throughout our stay at B&B Bastione. Thank you for such warm hospitality, I'd gladly recommend it to anyone after a comfortable, friendly place to stay.

Francesco welcomed us so warmly, and was kind and helpful throughout our four nights at Il Bastione B&B. We enjoyed chatting with him each day, and the breakfasts were fantastic. The rooms are spacious, pretty and tastefully decorated. It's also well placed, about a 10-minute walk from Catania's center. Stéphane & Valérie would happily return on another visit.
