The room itself was decent, but the bathroom gave off a moldy smell. Late at night, the owner kept making noise in the corridor and shouting instead of speaking quietly, so I couldn't fall asleep. Anyone hoping to rest after a full day of sightseeing should avoid this place. It showed no respect for its guests, and I don't recommend staying here.

Cheap furnishings, a windowless room, and a horrible smell coming from the bathroom pipes.

Right in the heart of Catania, with friendly, very helpful staff. A nice place, highly recommended.

The only good thing was being on the main road. The rooms smelled of cigarettes and mold and were dirty, while the beds were uncomfortable and noisy. There was no real privacy: old doors and thin walls let every sound through and disturbed sleep at any hour. Even the ensuite bathroom shared only a simple door with the adjacent bathroom. This was the worst stay of my life.

It's shabby, though at that price I wasn't expecting paradise. The bathroom wasn't well kept, and getting a hair dryer turned out to be such a hassle after I was told there was only one for everyone that I gave up. I wouldn't stay here again.
