The host was friendly, but that couldn't make up for the stay. We were charged an extra €10 cleaning fee, which wasn't clearly stated on the Booking.com listing. It was only on the owner's personal website, which we weren't responsible for checking. The apartment's cleanliness was well below an acceptable standard: the toilet was visibly stained, the shower had heavy mineral buildup and rust, the floors were dusty, and the towels were stained. We felt quite uncomfortable. It was also very noisy day and night in the courtyard of the old building, with residents constantly yelling and talking. The only window was in the bathroom, so the place felt dark and claustrophobic.

The hospitality was excellent, the rooms were clean, and the location was good. Highly recommended.

The sheets were the one thing that was clean enough. We’d booked four rooms for eight people, but none of the rooms were properly clean. There was dust and dead insects behind the beds and wardrobes, and the bathrooms were in really poor hygienic condition. The fixtures looked like they’d only been wiped over, and there was a clear buildup of hair in the shower. The radiator meant for hanging towels was dusty and marked with lots of reddish stains that seemed like rust. The towels smelled nice, but they were yellow-stained.
