Charming Studio in an Elegant Residence in Catania

The pool and hot tub sit in a secluded garden, and everything is clean, well cared for, and top notch. Reception were brilliant, helpful, and made us feel special. It’s a peaceful residential area, about a 20-minute drive from the center, so you need transport such as a car. For me, heading out each day to different places, it made an ideal base.

Ollen is easily the best place I’ve stayed in around Catania. I was in Sicily for business and tried a few hotels nearby, but this one stood out by far. The apartments are finished to a high standard, with comfortable beds and good facilities. After my long trip, Marianna greeted me so warmly and made everything feel easy. She was a superstar during our stay, always smiling and helping with taxis, dinner bookings, and anything else we needed. Giuseppe and the bar and restaurant team were excellent too, and the zucchini pesto pasta was the menu highlight. The pool was a welcome break on hot days, and the hot tub was great in the early evening. I was traveling for work, but I’ve rarely stayed somewhere so relaxing. Ollen is a real gem.

The beds were comfortable and the interior was nice. The staff were kind and helpful, especially Eleonora and Pepe. Great accommodation, thanks!

We stayed for ten days and would choose this place again if we return. It’s a clean, welcoming spot that feels like a safe haven from the chaotic downtown, while still being relatively close. Staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean. The full-sized fridge was a nice surprise, and the pool, gym, and other facilities were well maintained. The parking area is gated, so I didn’t have to worry about the car. Breakfast was good, with enough options even if there weren’t loads of them. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner, a handy choice when you’re hungry and don’t want to head out into the downtown bustle. I’ve attached a few pictures of the food.
