Inside the apartment, Dentro Le Mura feels cozy and lovely. The owner is very nice and helpful, and her love for Sicily, especially Catania, shows when she shares recommendations for interesting places nearby. Highly recommend.

Monica made our visit excellent. She’s passionate about her town and gave us spot-on tips that really helped us enjoy it. We loved Catania, from its streets and atmosphere to the food. The place itself could use some work, though the price was right, and Catania is definitely worth discovering.

The owner was so kind and helpful, and gave us all sorts of advice for visiting Catania. We stayed as three friends in this charming, well-equipped apartment over two floors. Its location is ideal for exploring the city on foot. Highly recommended.

URGENT, DO NOT BOOK. Everything was filthy, neglected, and full of insects. The entrance to the house looked like a shack. The photos seem to be from when the Crown of Aragon ruled Sicily. I’m shocked by how dirty and run-down the place was. Look at my photos and decide for yourselves. That bathroom was so bad that if you shower there, you might become the first immortal human, staring death in the face and saying, “I showered in CATANIA!” It’s a story I’ll be telling my grandchildren.

The location looked just like the pictures, and Catania is great if you stay in the city center. This apartment, though, was dirty, with an awful shower and so much noise that it felt like cars were driving through the bedroom. Never again.
