Etna Rosso b&b

We'd planned to climb Mount Etna, but the clouds and threat of rain sent us into Etna Rosso on Via Etna instead. We met Antonella there, and once she mentioned the wine tastings, we ended up trying a huge range, reds and whites from the north and south sides and more. Every glass came with a story, and the food kept coming too: cheeses, breads, sandwiches and sweets, like a Sicilian picnic. The sidewalk table was cozy and perfect for watching people go by. Nobody hurried us. It felt like being with family, which makes sense since Etna Rosso is family-run. We even got a warm hug from Antonella’s mom. The volcano stayed hidden in the clouds, but we didn't feel we'd missed anything. I'd happily skip the mountain again to spend another afternoon here. The Etna Rosso crew made a rainy day one of our best memories in Sicily.

The portions are big, so come prepared. We had great food and service, and really enjoyed the experience. It's conveniently close to our hotel and Billini Park.

Antonella and her family made us feel so welcome, and the prices were good too. The food was beautiful and the atmosphere was great. We'll definitely be back. Grazie mile!

We had some lovely drinks and even better desserts, and the food was delicious. The owner's family member who served us was welcoming and happy to accommodate a request for something off the menu. The restaurant is spacious, with attractive decor. It can get a little noisy outside when it's windy. Thanks for the service.
