The location was perfect, and the room was beautiful, but the stay was expensive and several problems really bothered me. The worst was the lack of soundproofing, despite it being promised. Other apartments were making terrible noise in the middle of the night, and it went on, so I had no hope of sleeping. The large apartment had only one air conditioner, which I couldn't leave on. Even at the lowest setting, it was really hot. There was also hardly any information shared between hotels.com and the host. We were supposed to get a bottle of wine but didn't. That wasn't serious, just annoying. Still, I chose this place to get some sleep before my wedding day, so the noise, heat, and missing wine were a big disappointment. I'm sorry to leave a bad review.

We had a really pleasant stay and felt safe the whole time. The apartment was spacious and clean, with a huge balcony that we especially loved. The hosts met us at the entrance and helped us get settled, and on our last day they let us leave our bags at the office so we could enjoy the city. The central location made it easy to walk almost everywhere. From the airport, the ALIBUS (Shuttle Bus from Airport) stops just steps away, so there was no need for a taxi. Staff were friendly from the moment we arrived. I would have liked a slightly bigger, more practical bathroom, but for the price the quality was great. Sicily was incredible, and I’d happily stay here again when I visit.

We really liked the balcony and the little kitchen in the room, and the location is great. The property has no front desk, but the staff are friendly and quick to answer on WhatsApp. The main drawback was the air conditioning. It’s loud and doesn’t seem to cool the room very well, so keeping it on overnight makes it hard to sleep. The owner may want to look into replacing the units.

Ferrini Home made our stay in Catania easy from the start. They arranged an airport transfer, and the staff were lovely and helpful whenever we needed something. They even helped us book a tour to Etna. The apartment is right in the city center, so we could get around on foot. It was in perfect condition, with a modern interior, lots of mirrors, and a new elevator. Our room was spotless and had a washing machine and a large fridge. The bathroom was clean and modern too. The shower is a little small, but it was absolutely fine. I can't think of anything negative to say. If I return to Sicily, I'd definitely stay at Ferrini Home again 😊
