We booked Hot Sofia and were shocked by the state of the room. Because the toilet could block, we had to put toilet paper in a bin. After we complained, we were moved to Hotel Costanza on the other side of the hotel block. That room was larger, but not much better. The rooms were dirty in both places, and reception service was terrible. We were given breakfast vouchers each day. Since we were leaving very early the next morning, we asked for the next day's voucher in advance and one staff member agreed. But when we tried to use it, the cafe called reception and the female receptionist refused to approve it, so the cafe wouldn’t accept it. We’d paid for that breakfast and the hotel didn’t reimburse us. We couldn’t get out of there quickly enough. Not recommended!

There’s no private parking, the hotel is in a ZTL, and the service is awful.

The location is great, but the room was filthy and stank of dirt left behind by previous guests, or maybe guests before them. The linen was the only part that seemed at all clean, and the floors were dirty. This doesn’t feel like a hotel at all. The reception belongs to a different hotel. The receptionist was lovely, but no one answered the number for hotel Constanza. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The rooms felt old, noisy, and poorly ventilated. Parking wasn’t available, even though the booking said it was; paid parking cost 15 euros for a day and was about a mile away. Breakfast was very limited, just one drink and one piece of bread. The woman at the desk stayed friendly even when I gave her a hard time. Shame about her asshole boss.
