Right on the main street, yet it stays quiet. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the cute room had air conditioning and a great price. It felt homey. This isn't a luxury hotel, but if you're after a cosy room in a great spot and want to support a charming local business, I'd absolutely stay here.

The owner was wonderful. She helped us arrange a taxi for 3:30 am and let us leave our luggage before check-in. The place is right in the heart of Catania, about a 5-minute walk from piazza del Duomo and close to lots of shops. Our spacious room was clean, had a private bathroom, AC and a small balcony. There's also a shared living room, and the property is on the first floor.

We were able to explore freely after checkout because the owners kindly stored our luggage. Our flight wasn't until 10pm, though checkout was at 10am. The property is right in the centre of via etnea, with restaurants, markets, churches, cafeterias and other amenities all within walking distance. We were welcomed warmly.

The location was excellent, and the room was lovely and very clean. Our kind hosts cleaned it for us, made us coffee in the morning and even ironed our shirt. They also kept our luggage somewhere safe.
