We slept fine despite hearing some street noise at night, which makes sense in a busy city. The room was spotless and beautifully done, and check-in was simple. Manuela was helpful and easy to reach, and breakfast was nice. Great value for the stay.

We only stayed one night, but would happily recommend it to friends and family. Breakfast felt homemade, with cakes, jam, juices and other things to share around one table. It seemed a bit intimate at first, though it turned into a chance to chat. Manuela was warm and easy to talk with on WhatsApp, and helped with restaurant bookings. Our King Suite was spacious and lovely, with three balconies and a modern bathroom. The bed, though, was uncomfortable.

Manuela was so kind and helped us sort out all kinds of things, from taxis and excursions to restaurant bookings. Breakfast had a great selection, including local treats. The B&B is right in Catania's historic Center, and the rooms are large, high-ceilinged, nicely decorated, very clean and air conditioned. We'll book Il Leone again next time we're in Catania.

You’re right in the city center, with bars and restaurants all around, and piazza Borsellino nearby for the airport bus. The rooms are lovely, and the staff’s communication made us feel at home. Manuella is especially kind. Grazie Mille Manuella ❤️❤️❤️ If you can, stay here when you visit Catania!

The B&B is only 5 minutes from the main square and right beside the 12th century Ursino Castle. Manuela really went out of her way to make our stay (06/09/20) special. It was very clean, and there was food and drink in the fridge and pantry for when we got tired from walking the basalt pavements. They also gave us free snack coupons and a handy list of local sights and when to see them. Catania has a run down chic that kind of grows on you.
