Ivanas is right in the center of Catania. My friend and I stayed there for two nights, and the apartment felt special in every way. Ivana was so welcoming, and the breakfast she prepared felt like it came from the heart.

The location is convenient, right in the city center, though being so close to the road meant dust, poor air quality, and traffic noise that could bother you at night. The mattress seemed low quality, and I had back pain after sleeping there. There was no breakfast, despite it being presented as a bed and breakfast, and the air conditioner was broken, so don’t count on full-power A/C. The owner seemed kind and nice, but I had the sense it was a bit of a facade.
