We had such a lovely stay in this quiet, clean place, with an easy trip to the city center or the interbus station. Luigi was a wonderful, friendly host, making us delicious breakfast every day and sharing good tips for places to visit and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here, and we’ll definitely come back.

Luigi made my stay feel special with his generosity and kindness. Through him, I learned about Catania’s history, politics, food, and culture, and got to see the real city. The guesthouse is a peaceful little oasis away from the Centro’s bustle, yet in Catania. For an authentic, relaxing visit, I couldn’t imagine a better place.

The price was good at 45 Euros, and it’s close to places to eat. The hotel has a quaint feel, and the host was friendly and really nice to talk with. Breakfast was good too. He said the facade would be done this year, as the place is a slow work in progress, and the inside is still being worked on. It met our needs, but don’t expect fine fit and finish.

Breakfast came with plenty of fresh local fruit and condiments. Luigi was happy to suggest local excursions or help arrange them, and did whatever he could to make us comfortable and at home.

The host was nice and got up early to make breakfast, but that didn’t make up for the lack of cleanliness. The linens smelled nice and were clean, but the shared bathroom looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The overall experience was unpleasant.
