We had a nice, clean room, and the main places were all less than five minutes away on foot. Ottavia was helpful, and she can arrange an airport transfer too. Parking was a bit difficult, though, and the Wi-Fi didn't reach our room. I'm not sure what we would have done without Ottavia being there when we arrived. I'd recommend the place.

The room looked lovely, but it was very dirty. We stayed four days and the householder never cleaned it or replaced the towels. The rooms are also on the fourth floor of an old building with no elevator. I wouldn't recommend it.

The B&B is downtown, very close to the fish market, and you can tell from the smell. Wi-Fi didn't work, and on the second day there was nothing to eat for breakfast, no juice, jam, or coffee. The host is rarely at the B&B. She offers a €15 airport transfer, but doesn't meet you in the terminal. She waits in her car in the parking lot, so you have to call her. She wasn't very helpful and didn't offer a city map.

We couldn't sleep at all because the bed made a huge noise whenever we moved, even just a little. We had to lie still. The bathroom was noisy too.

Our stay in Catania was short. The first impression wasn't great, as the room's owner didn't seem friendly and kept rushing us to check in even though our plane had just landed. The breakfast was totally... The apartment was cozy, though, and the father who met us was nice.
