Even though we arrived late, we were greeted with so much warmth and care that the place felt like home right away. They brought us homemade cookies and drinks, which was so thoughtful. The room was superb, and the breakfast was outstanding. I’ve travelled a lot, and this was a really special Italian experience. Grazie so much!

The rooms are set up to be really comfortable, and ours had a great view. The location in the heart of the city puts you close to everything. From the delicious, varied breakfast to the warmest welcome on my first visit to Catania, the service made me feel at home. More than a five-star experience, and one I’ll remember.

The family running this BnB have put a lot into the furnishings and those homemade breakfasts. The baroque building is fantastic, with a literal 4m floor-to-ceiling height. There’s enough space up there for any mosquitoes to get lost. The location is superb. My only complaints were the lift being out of order and their questionable dinner recommendation for the seafood restaurant down the road. Still, the best cake or torte we ate in Sicily came from their kitchen, which is reason enough to book.

The family made the stay feel like coming into their own home, only much more stylish. The mother and husband were incredibly warm and accommodating, helping with anything we needed, and their twin sons were sweet and very cute. The morning breakfast was generous and had a better spread than anywhere else in the city. The interiors are amazing, and the rooms are beautiful. Honestly, I’d come back just to spend time with the family and stay here again. It was the best part of visiting Catania.
