The rooms were clean and roomy, and breakfast was very good. It's a really nice bed and breakfast in an excellent location. The connection was a little weak, but this B & F is still a good choice if you're visiting Catania.

Staff were very friendly, and there's a meeting room where coffee machines, snakes, biscuits, and juice are free for most of the day. It's a small apartment near the historic part of town and offers good value for the cost. I'd recommend it if you want somewhere comfortable and affordable in a great location.

We got a lot for the price, and breakfast each morning was a treat, especially the delicious brioche croissants. San Demetrio Rooms is just steps from Piazza Duomo on busy Via Etnea, with public transport nearby and easy airport connections. You can hear a little street noise, but it wasn't too disruptive. The rooms were tidy and clean, with the essentials and a small TV. Serafina at reception was warm and kind, and her friendly chats made the stay more personal. We also appreciated being able to arrange check-in times and leave our luggage.

My fiancé and I expected a typical b&b, but the owner looked after us from the moment we arrived. They let us check in early, took care of our luggage, and helped us with breakfast. Our room was the first on the floor, with a balcony and bathroom, and it was easy to come and go. The elevator was convenient too, and the place is on via etnea. It was beyond what we expected.
