The trash bin in our room was dirty, and luckily we only stayed one night. The admin was extremely rude and seemed to make no effort to impress guests. I asked about an airport shuttle two days ahead, but they insisted I was trying to book it only a day ahead and said they couldn’t arrange one. Make it make sense! Their messages were aggressive, with no courtesy or politeness.

The price was good, but there are nearby places at similar prices where you don’t have to share the room with cockroaches. I woke up to one huge one on the wall and another beside the bed, then checked out as soon as I could. The building is a very old complex under construction or repairs. It looked more like a demolition site than a proper place to stay, and I wondered if Google had sent me to the wrong address until I saw the hotel sign. The room was small, the floor dirty, and the sink didn’t work properly. The shower flooded the bathroom, so I had to use all the towels to mop it up.

The room was spacious, clean, modern, and had air conditioning. It’s in a lovely typical Italian building, right in the center and close to cafés, restaurants, and monuments. The location is very good.

The photos were nothing like the room I got. There wasn’t even a window, and I felt like I was in prison. Reception talked at length during check-in, but never answered my message asking to change rooms. One of the worst places I’ve stayed in my life, and I’ve traveled almost 30% of the world. A very, very poor experience.

The rooms were clean and quite nice, and the staff were really helpful. Everything was close by, so the location was great. I’ll definitely come back.
