The location worked well, and our balcony faced the back of the building, so it stayed quiet. The place was clean, with soap, coffee and tea, and both the Wi-Fi and AC worked fine. We stayed four nights, though a few things were disappointing. There was no balcony furniture, no cleaning or fresh towels, and not enough toilet paper. The pillows were too high and hard, and the bed squeaked whenever we moved. The shower head was broken from our first shower and leaked badly. We reported it, but the repair was only partial, so we had to contact staff again. It’s hard to believe neither the housekeeper nor the previous guest noticed. To be fair, Maria was really nice and came quickly after our second request.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the location was superb. We had the whole flat to ourselves, with a bedroom, living room and kitchen, plus two bathrooms. It had everything we needed, including the washing machine we were really counting on. We had a great stay.

The host welcomed us very warmly, and the room was clean, but it felt tired and dated and needs some money spent on it to make it comfortable. The bathroom door wouldn’t close because the wood had swollen from mopping. The kitchen had so little cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment that we ate all our meals out. The online photos and specifications showed a sofa, but there wasn’t one when we arrived. Instead, there were two unsteady bar stools at a table.

The host was exceptionally friendly, and the place was very clean and cosy. It’s handy for local sights, shops and bars. There’s one very noisy bar across the road, though, so it might be an issue if you’re a light sleeper.
