We stayed one night and would come back. Check-in was easy, the staff were friendly, and the clean room had everything we needed. We had a street-facing balcony where we could see the Christmas lights, and the fresh breakfast ingredients were a nice touch. The location is fantastic, but if you're arriving by car, look into your options because the streets nearby are quite packed.

This small hotel is close to the main tourist street. Our room was large and clean, with balconies facing the back yard, so there was less noise from the nearby main road. The main drawback is the bathroom: it isn't adapted for people with disabilities, and the many steps leading to and inside it are a safety hazard for everyone, requiring extreme caution.

We loved the room's decor. It was stunning, spacious and clean, and the location was quiet and secure while still close to transport and local attractions. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and even accommodated our dietary needs without us having to ask, as we're Muslim. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. We had the best stay at Umberto House on our recent holiday in Catania. I'd highly recommend it and will definitely stay again if I'm in Catania!

The standout at Umberto House is the service. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful, always with a smile. The rooms are basic but clean, and the bed is very comfortable. It's well situated in central Catania.

The host is very friendly and hospitable :)) We also had a most tasty pizza at the pub Old Wood around the corner. The dwelling is centrally located, about a 10 minute walk from tourist attractions and shops. Inside, it's stylish, with its own balcony, comfortable beds, blackout curtains and a very clean bathroom. Breakfast was served on the terrace. We definitely recommend it.
