The real letdown was breakfast. You have to watch a YouTube video to figure out the coffee maker, and although there were cereal and biscuits, there wasn't even a spoon for eating them with milk. There was toast and jam but nothing to spread it with. The five croissant varieties included packaged ones that weren't very good. The fridge had a few yogurts and juices, with little choice. The cereal shelf was filthy; I found a dead bug there on day one, and it was still there for the rest of my stay. I attached a photo. I stayed two nights. On arrival there was nobody there, and the entry system for the B&B and room was unusual, so it could be hard if you're not comfortable using your phone. The room and bathroom were small but clean enough and had the basics, including a coffee maker and kettle. The cleaner who came in the morning was very kind. I was only given the air conditioning remote at the end of my stay, though I'd paid to use it. I was also charged €10 per day as a pet fee despite not having a pet.

Parking is a serious problem here. Unless you're willing to pay or park illegally, there isn't really an option. The single room is tiny, though it has all the amenities and can be handy if you have a family member at Pugliese Hospital.

Across from the hospital, the B&B is welcoming and has all the comforts. The rooms and kitchen are somewhat small, but they're clean and well equipped. The owner and team are friendly and helpful.

What sets this B&B apart isn't the furnishings, air conditioning, or parking. It's the care and sensitivity of the people running it. The service is top-notch.

A terrible experience. The shower head was already broken when we arrived, but the manager charged us for it and said it was our fault.
